An exciting new opportunity for Room 15's amazing learners!

In Room 15 we're starting to use a new tool called Seesaw to share even more of what we're learning in class. Each child has his or her own learning journal, and parents and whanau members can be notified when their child adds new items. It's completely private -- only you can see your child's journal outside of class. If you want to, you can like, comment on or share the items.

The children will be able to add all sorts of different items to their journals. They've already learnt to add photos! We're really excited about this new opportunity for the children to share their learning with you, so please give it a go.

There are two ways to set this up, depending on whether you want to use the app or the website:

1. Download the Seesaw Parent app onto your smartphone or tablet, then use the device to scan the special QR code they brought home today (it's really easy, I promise - you don't need a special QR scanner or anything!).

OR

2. Click on https://app.seesaw.me/s/556-577-572 to sign up - it takes just 30 seconds. You can then download the Seesaw Parent app for iPhone or Android, or access your child's journal on the web.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Our videos are working now!

Apologies to anyone who's been trying to view our class's videos and having trouble - they should be working now. Enjoy!

Remember last year's 60s Celebrations?

Here's a video by Room 15's 'class of 2015'! You might not recognise them though, most of us haven't seen looks like these for a few decades!

Be Like An Olympic Athlete!

Watch our children share what makes Olympic athletes so successful!

Room 15's Assembly

Today was our assembly. Thank you to all the parents and whanau members who came along to support us - your children did a great job!

 We felt prepared and confident!

We had beautiful artwork to share! Aren't our fraction creatures lovely and bright?
We cut our shapes into halves, thirds and quarters to make these.

Lots of our brave children had turns to talk into the microphone. Well done!
