WOW, what wonderful writers!

We've been working super hard in Room 15 on all sorts of tricky writing goals. I'm so impressed at the number of goals all the children have achieved! We have a whole class full of budding authors.
The children's progress is amazing - lots of them have moved up a level on our writing wall. FANTABULOUS! I have a feeling I'm going to have to add a new chart very soon!
Ask your children about their current writing levels and goals or chat about the most recent writing they've shared with you on Seesaw.

We are all getting very excited about our trip this Friday! Remember to come to school bright and early and prepared for cold or wet weather conditions.
We have nearly all the children's permission slips now - keep them coming!

Art Show and Learning Expo

We are super excited to share our Art Show and Learning Expo this week! Pop in on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to see your child's beautiful work of art and find out what we have been learning about at school this term. The Art Show is in the Small Hall and the Learning Expo is in the Library. Ask your child to show you around! Here's a sneak preview...

Grandparents' and Whānau Morning

Next Tuesday (June 4th) will be Grandparents' and Whānau Morning at Chaucer School. We'd love to have the children's Nanas, Poppas, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and other extended whānau and family members come along from 9:00am until 10:30am - we'll hope to see you all then!

Welcome to 2017 in Room 15!

We have had a great start to the year in Room 15! The children are so eager to get right back into their learning. It's also been wonderful to have so many parents and whanau members popping in to school over the last couple of days. We are looking forward to seeing more of you all throughout the coming year!
An extra special welcome to the children and families who are new to Chaucer School. Lovely to have you with us!
